  • Fall Semester 2025 at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) brings new courses, events, experiences, and opportunities for Dustdevils and the community at large. This semester, we're launching Bright Start and Night Start offerings to help you get the right start (or finish) to your day with classes beginning at 7/8:30 a.m. and 7:35/9:10 p.m. Learn more here.

  • TAMIU faculty continue to go places, earning national recognition! Dr. Cynthia A. Gallardo, TAMIU assistant professor of Educational Administration, recently received the James Berry Emerging Scholar Award from the International Council of Professors of Educational Leadership (ICPEL) for her impactful early-career work in educational leadership, research, and instructional motivation.   • As part of its enduring commitment to health, TAMIU provides enrolled students a convenient way to prioritize their mental health...with “Umatter,” a free, confidential mental health care app as close as their smartphone. Explore here.
  • Thinking business? TAMIU's Small Business Development Center (TAMIU SBDC) will offer a series of free, online workshops in Spanish in September aimed at supporting entrepreneurs across South Texas. Led by experts, the workshops, titled, "La Academia del Emprendedor" (The Entrepreneur's Academy) the sessions will cover key topics such as Google tools, leadership, human resources, finance, and how to start a business. ‘Bright Start’, ‘Night Start’ Offers Right Start this Fall at TAMIU

New this Fall is the offering of “Bright Start” classes that begin at 7 and 8:30 a.m., accommodating students’ busy working schedules. A sister initiative, “Night Start,” expands on classes available at 7:35 and 9:10 p.m.
