Reflections and thanks
National Open Mills weekend
Legions of visitors were welcomed on mill tours. Donations over the weekend exceeded last year's total. Many thanks to all who attended, and those who made the food sold. Thanks too to John Fletcher, Phil Nuthall and Max Hunt, who assembled an eclectic range of classic cars, commercials and a fire engine, to be admired. The mighty Fowler traction engine of mill-wrights Aidan and Ed Marriott is always a huge delight for our younger visitors too.
