The park is home to a variety of wildflowers, including California poppies, lupines and Indian paintbrush.

The wildflowers typically bloom from March to May, but the exact timing depends on the weather.

Hidden Falls Regional Park, located in North Auburn is a hidden gem for nature lovers. The park offers over 30 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding, as well as fishing, a quarter-mile ADA accessible trail, and stunning views of Hidden Falls. In the spring, the park is especially beautiful when the wildflowers are in bloom.

A Hiker's Paradise

The park's many trails offer something for everyone, from casual strollers to experienced hikers. The most popular trail is the Hidden Falls Trail, which leads to a beautiful waterfall. Other popular trails include the Creekside Trail, the Blue Oak Loop Trail and the Great Egret Loop Trail.

There are picnic areas, a viewing platform, restrooms, and more.

  • The park is open from sunrise to sunset daily.
  • A pre-paid parking reservation is required on weekends, peak-use days and holidays.
  • Dogs are allowed on leash.
  • Visitors may encounter sheep, goats or cattle grazing throughout the park.
