About This Compilation
This compilation begins with the foundational work of Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami (Gurudeva), whose insights laid the groundwork for understanding the inner structure of the mind. It is followed by a series of discourses by Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, given over several weeks, which expand, clarify, and bring these teachings into practical focus. The written article, video talks, and book reference are gathered here in one place to preserve continuity, honor the lineage of transmission, and offer a coherent path for study and reflection.
A Mystical Map of Existence & Consciousness
Satguru sivaya subramuniyaswami’s framework of seven dimensions of the mind divides consciousness into seven categories that range from gross to extremely subtle. The first two describe physical existence—the inside and outside of things. The third dimension is mankind’s normal level of consciousness, consisting of thoughts and emotions about our own and others’ lives. The fourth through the seventh dimensions can be described as the inner, mystical or higher realms of consciousness. They are within everyone but require training and practice to be accessed with continuity. Click below to read the full article in Hinduism Today 👇🏽 Online
