The Enthusiast Anthony, 30
The primary persona that will be discussed is the enthusiast. The enthusiast is someone who may be older than the target audience or someone who grew up in a household where vinyl was a common usage. They use vinyls often and prefer the organic sounds over digital usages, but may use other methods for convenience purposes. Quotes that were given to back up this claim from the interviews were “I like the crackling sounds adds to the ambiance and the novelty of it” and also “I get tired of doing work at home and need a change of scenery.”
Persona 2
Uncultured Kamille, 19
The secondary persona is the uncultured. How they differentiate from the primary persona is that they never grew up with vinyls and have always been using online streaming, quotes that have been gathered from these people consist of “this generation doesn’t know much about vinyls” and how “I enjoy modern streaming platforms. The main reason why people choose streaming platforms is due to convenience and accessibility to be used during their busy lifestyle, not many people have the time to sit down and listen to vinyls.
