Flip Top Head

Sporting two-tone swagger, punkish grit and a poetic post-rock melody - it’s no surprise Flip Top Head are already sharing bills with fellow high-risers Deadletter, Opus Kink, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Ugly and a UK tour support with Dog Race. Since their debut single in February 2023, they have landed appearances at the Great Escape, Brighten The Corners, Mutations, Left of the Dial and sŵn festivals; regularly selling out dates in their Brighton hometown, London, Ipswich, Sheffield and Amsterdam.

The six-piece released their debut EP 'Up Like A Weather Balloon,' via Blitzcat Records in November 2024 with fulsome praise of independent press outlets in NME, DIY, KEXP, So Young, Rough Trade, Far Out Magazine, Clunk, God is in the TV and Still Listening.

Continuing their collaboration with producer Theo Verney (Lime Garden, English Teacher, Blood Wizard), new EP Trilateral Machine cuts through the conceits, the flourishes, the fat, focusing in on the organic force of a stripped-back rock ensemble tightened by years of performance. Due 23rd January via Blitzcat Records (ashnymph, C Turtle) -  Trilaterial Machine marks the band’s most elaborate work to-date, and will be heralded by an extensive 2026 headline run - including their biggest headline to date at London’s The Lexington

Flip Top Head are Bowie Bartlett, Bertie Beer, Marie Freiss, Harry Giles, Harrison Spooner and Ollie White.
