British-Irish singer, songwriter and visual artist Amy Odell presents her new single, Blue. Currently residing in Cadaqués, Spain, Amy developed and recorded the song with collaborators Oli Swan and Jean Stevens. It is the second single from her upcoming album, Dreamers, to be released in 2026 on UK indie label Sugar Town Recordings.
Blue showcases Amy’s raw, emotive musical style, blending influences from Americana, folk and psychedelia. The song was written with fellow singer-songwriter and friend Oli Swan. Amy is backed by live musicians recorded at the all-analogue UK studio Sugar Town Recordings.
Amy’s debut single Put That Gun Down was released by Rough Trade. She went on to collaborate with renowned artists including Gavin Friday, appearing on his album Catholic. She has also worked on two film scores and numerous experimental projects with musicians from Cuba and Barcelona. Her debut album Sirens was released in 2016.
Amy says - "Blue is the most up-tempo track from new my album and it is one of my favourites. It touches on themes that are woven throughout my recent work: inner exploration, the dynamics of endings and beginnings, the dynamics between inner and outer worlds, between self and others, and the solitary journey that we all have to go on. It was great to fully realise the song with a live band at Sugar Town Recordings.”
