Fundraising concert with Newtown Silver Band

We will be holding a joint concert with Newtown Silver Band

This is a great opportunity for our children to see live music and to showcase the music we are have been learning this term at school. All pupils have been busy practicing singing and playing musical instruments and would like to show you their talents when they perform during the concert.

Year 5 and 6 have been playing the p-buzz, a plastic wind instrument, similar to the trombone. They could now begin to learn a brass instrument and Newtown Silver Band will show them what they could achieve. Year 3 and 4 will be learning how to play these instruments after half term. The band offer free instruments and tuition in Newtown, which you can find out about at the concert.

The concert starts at 3pm and we aim to be finished around 4pm.

Pupils in all classes are practising to take part in this concert. Please let school know by Monday if your child will be taking part.

Tickets are £10 for the first adult and will be discounted to £5 for subsequent adults with links to school (parents, relatives, etc.)

Tickets can also be reserved through the link below.
