Sherece Rainford is on a mission to amplify Caribbean art globally. Through the creation of Gallery OCA, she is making art accessible for all...

Sherece Rainford is a British-Jamaican whose love of her dual heritage and connection to her roots underpins the conception of the gallery, which was founded in 2020. Sherece has worked with artists such as Anthony Daley, Sonia Elizabeth Barrett, Yermine Richardson and Alanis Forde.

Acutely aware of the lack of presence of Caribbean art in the art world she felt called to create a platform that would both uplift the Caribbean art niche from a social and commercial standpoint and educate the wider industry and stakeholders, thereby highlighting our shared human experience through the artists' narratives.

Sherece is a Christie's Education Alumni and has overseen and curated exhibitions for the Black Cultural Archives, Mayor of London, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House and Culture& and Sotheby’s. She has also showcased artists in Atlantic World Art Fair and 1:54 Art Fair at Christie’s London.

Sherece also excels as an Art Consultant, providing invaluable expertise to art collectors, businesses, and institutions in the acquisition, resale, and curation of art collections.
