A note from Neighborhood Area President Elyjah WilbuR

Dear Neighbors,

A thriving community isn’t built by accident—it’s built by the collective efforts of those who care enough to shape its future. At Citrus Heights Northwest Neighborhood Area (NWNA), our mission is clear: to better our neighborhood through meaningful partnerships with businesses, schools, the city, and local organizations. But to make real progress, we need more than just good intentions—we need action, engagement, and a strong network of community voices at the table.

The best solutions come from within. Who better to advocate for our neighborhood than the people who live, work, and invest here? Our partnerships can only be as strong as the community behind them. Whether it’s working with local businesses to support economic growth, collaborating with schools to provide opportunities for youth, or staying engaged with city leaders to shape future developments, our collective voice is powerful.

So, I’m calling on you—our neighbors—to get involved. Attend meetings. Share your insights. Bring new ideas and connections to the table. The future of our neighborhood is not just something we observe—it’s something we create.

I encourage you to join us at our next Neighborhood Area Meeting on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Round Table Pizza (7873 Lichen Dr.). Let’s discuss how we can strengthen our partnerships and continue building a community that reflects our shared vision.

Additionally, we’re still seeking new Board Members and community feedback through our Neighborhood Area Survey. If you’re looking for a way to make a direct impact, this is your chance. Your voice matters, and together, we can ensure NWNA remains a strong, engaged, and forward-thinking community.

In Community,

Elyjah Wilbur

President, Citrus Heights Northwest Neighborhood Area (NWNA)
