The Kociolek - Underwater Research Vessel

The underwater research vessel The Kociolek, named after the world famous researcher, Dr. JP Kociolek, was built for scientific exploration of the HamWeg Galaxy.

The Kociolek's source of power for propulsion and research is provided by sodium/mercury electric batteries by extracting sodium provided from seawater with a top speed of 60 knots. The Kociolek is double-hulled separated into sixty water-tight laboratories, sleeping quarters, kitchen galleries and recreation centers.
