THE RENOVATION / REFURBISHMENT PROCESS

A stunning transformation begins

It is simply undeniable that our latest swimming pool is nothing short of absolutely stunning. A challenging yet highly satisfying project from start to finish, we successfully transformed an old, tired swimming pool into a modern masterpiece, whilst retaining its original classic charm. The end result is a beautifully functional contemporary pool which achieves a synergy between traditional aesthetics and modern technology. We took great care to ensure that the pool was not only visually pleasing, but also safe for its family to use. In line with this commitment, we added the best safety cover available on the market. Above and beyond in the name of detail

We went above and beyond in the design of this project to guarantee that every detail was perfect. The highest quality tiles and a sunken beach area give the pool a unique and inviting feel. The gushing water feature is the pièce de résistance, bringing a tranquil ambiance that helps calm and unwind swimmers, splashers and sunbathers after a long day. We are extremely proud of this project and are confident that the family will enjoy their new pool for many years to come.

Ambitious - just the way we like it!

Our ambitious swimming pool design included the repositioning and reshaping of the existing Roman end steps. We beached the set of steps, lowering them further into the water, whilst also squaring off the pool edges.

Instantly Instagrammable!

One huge bonus was that the existing pool sat in a suntrap, making it an instantly instagrammable asset once our modern design flourishes took shape.

Let's get pumpin'

The full pool surround was removed and the task of pumping out the pool water began.

Squaring off

Once drained, we started the reconstruction of the Roman steps and the squaring of the pool’s shape.

Out with the old...

It was time to remove the existing slatted cover from the pit.

...And in with the new

The new pit was to house the automatic safety cover. We laid new concrete as we began the pit reconstruction.

Nicely, nicely

The new safety cover pit was starting to take shape.

Level and plumb

Once all the tiles had been removed, the next stage was to level and plumb all the walls and floors.

Coats galore!

Multiple coats were required to render the existing shell.

Tiling beckons

Construction of the shell was almost complete, and our magnificent swimming pool was now ready for tiling.

Stunning simplicity

The surrounding patio area was laid with the stunning simplicity of sawn sandstone paving. Tracks lining the pool’s perimeter were dug in preparation for the safety cover.

A seamless blend

An extensive and inviting paved patio area seamlessly blends the newly designed swimming pool into its surroundings.

Ezarri bring the opulence

The luxury of Ezarri tiles were carefully selected with quality and opulence in mind.

Contemporary touch

The water feature added a touch of contemporary class to the aesthetics of the pool, whilst not breaking the clean lines of its borders. We cannot help but highlight the impressive tiling and immaculately smooth shell.

Fillin' up

With all our prime stainless steel fittings installed, it was time to refill our pool!
