After some time on the job I was able to analyze and optimize our current services. For example: While examining the process of providing lamination of large format posters, I found a solution that cut time, materials, and labor. The old process involved Medical Media printing posters, then sending the packaged posters to Vancouver REPRO SERVICES for lamination, they would then repackage and send them back to Medical Media for QC inspection - finally delivering to customer. I bought the same laminator that REPRO SERVICES use and we are now able to provide this service IN-HOUSE. This process saves time for each of the stakeholders resulting in saved time AND money.

I love to teach photography basics! What I often see from non-creatives taking photos is that most of the time they will frame the subject in the middle of the screen, from quite a distance away, and shoot at eye level. My advice is to get as close as the action allows (being mindful of your surroundings, and knowing what you can and can’t do), and CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE! Get down low or raise your camera up and angle it down a bit. Use your surroundings to compose the frame… Leading lines, framing the subject, and even shooting through foreground elements. These simple tricks will make your photos way more interesting! See the photos below from a shoot I did that uses all of the aforementioned techniques.
