FAQ
Do I need boxing experience?
No. Base Camp is designed for beginners. The first phase focuses on learning the fundamentals of boxing while improving fitness and confidence in the gym. ⸻
What if I’m not fit enough?
You don’t need to be in perfect shape to start. Base Camp is designed to gradually build your fitness and conditioning while teaching boxing fundamentals. The important part is showing up consistently and putting in the work. ⸻
What age group usually joins the program?
Participants typically range from their early 20s to mid 40s, but age is less important than commitment and consistency in training. ⸻
What if I’ve never sparred before?
That’s completely normal. Sparring is introduced gradually during the program and always supervised by coaches. Participants will only progress when they are ready. ⸻
Do I have to fight at the end of the program?
No. Fighting at Fight Night is always optional. Participants can complete the program for the experience, fitness, and personal challenge without stepping into the ring. However, Fight Camp (the second phase) is designed for those who want to prepare seriously for the possibility of competing. Because of this, we expect a high level of commitment, consistency, and effort from everyone who chooses to continue into this stage. ⸻
Can I sign up directly for Fight Camp?
No. All participants must first complete Base Camp. This ensures everyone develops the necessary skills and conditioning before progressing to fight-specific training. ⸻
How many classes should I attend each week?
Participants are expected to attend at least 3 classes per week. The recommended classes are BoxFit, Boxing, and Sparring, which are highlighted on the timetable. ⸻
What happens after Base Camp?
At the end of the first 8 weeks you decide whether to continue into Fight Camp. Participants who start with Base Camp will receive a link to purchase the Fight Camp upgrade if they wish to continue. ⸻
What equipment do I need?
Participants must bring their own training gear. 16oz boxing gloves and a mouthguard are mandatory. ⸻
What if I miss a class?
Life happens and occasionally missing a session is unavoidable. However, consistency is extremely important for progress and preparation. ⸻
Is my fight guaranteed?
No. Participation in Fight Night depends on your preparation, safety considerations, and the availability of suitable opponents. Our coaches will do their best to find appropriate matchups. ⸻
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. All purchases are final and non-refundable. ⸻
What happens if I get sick or something unexpected comes up?
Illness, work, and family commitments are part of life. We all deal with them. The program works best for participants who are ready to stay consistent and committed despite these challenges. ⸻
