"Fire. Stickbread. Chocolates and hot chocolate at the Children's Home kitchen rondavel at 6.” - The PV Groupchat

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:26

FAMILY MISSION TRIP FROM POTCH

Arno and Christi lead two mission teams to Pasture Valley from Potchefstroom. They got involved in outreaches to homesteads, helped with caregiver training, farm maintenance, leading bible studies, and also had career talks with the children. The above photos show some of their outreach to a child-headed home. The photos show some of their outreach to a child-headed home.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. ” (Deut 6:5–7)

MERCY AIR

The adventures- I mean, missions- with Mercy Air continue: Some of the PV children and staff got to come along too. Dr Jason (Dentist) also treated children from PV and Tfokotani (no pun intended).

UNCLE MIKE

....holds down the fort at Pasture Valley while the McCubbins were away: someone needs to make sure these children get to school on time!

CULTURAL DAY

We had another festive cultural day at PV, complete with lots of food, of course. The children dressed up and danced with great gusto.

FARM AND FAMILY

Pasture Valley Childrens Home is officially connected to be running primarily on Solar Energy now - thanks Jurgens! Some of the girls love to visit Make - either at home baking cookies, or in the lab growing plants.

WEDDING BELLS

Thandi got engaged! We are very happy for the young couple. They are both working close by, and we hope to have a wedding at PV soon!

DRESSED UP FOR CHURCH

GROWING UP

Image and Dudu are off to College at the Eswatini College of Theology. We are so proud of Nosipo for graduating! Gcinile has had a baby and brought her to meet Gogo and Mkhulu.

FIXING THINGS

The children learn how to take apart a computer box.

GIRLS CAMP

The girls went on a camp at Gogo's Farm, and of course it included: swimming in the dam; braaing and eating good food; quiet time and bible study; singing worship songs around the fire; and lots of giggles in the tents

TRAINING

There has been quite a few workshops the last few months! The Canadian Solar Company delivered some training on Solar, there was also a teachers training, and the support group for caregivers of children with disabilities is still going strong.

NEW SITE

The building at the new site is still underway, and slowly but surely things are starting to take shape. Just recently the walls were painted, and shelves are going up.

DUSTY AND STONES

There was a lot of excitement when this band came to play! The whole Education Centre was jumping about to their music!!

PRESCHOOL

Just a small reminder that these little guys are out there doing their best at school! And that Jesus sees, loves and cares for each one of their little hearts. Just like he cares for you.
