Talan Tolliver passed away in ninth grade after fighting a long and tough battle with cancer. This would have been his senior year. To commemorate him and his legacy in Stockbridge schools, his jersey number, 68, was laid out on the football field. In addition, during the national anthem at the senior night game against Dansville, a recording of Talan singing the anthem when he was nine years old played on the loudspeakers for all to hear.
