- **IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT VALID THROUGH THE END OF SUMMER 2026. If you do not have a passport, you must apply for one as soon as possible.**
Communication/Phones: We will be taking up cell phones once we arrive at Malibu. They will be securely stored all week, and returned once we leave the property. Additionally, due to Malibu's remote location, there is no cell service. Our entire group will be out of contact while we are at camp. Malibu has one single satellite "landline" phone reserved for emergencies and life-required communication. Campers may NOT use this phone unless accompanied by a leader who aggress that their need to call falls under the "emergency / required-for-life" heading. If you need to communicate with your camper while they are at camp, you can call the camp office or send an email. Messages fall into two categories: "Emergency/time-sensitive" and "non-emergency." Emergency messages will be given to Head Leaders to be delivered as soon as possible, while non-emergent messages will be delivered at the next meal.
Adult Supervision: We will have over 100 YL staff and volunteer leaders staying in cabins and monitoring camp.
