Forden School 6th december 2024

Autumn term reports

All parents will receive their child's termly report on Monday via email.

Welsh Vision

As part of our Welsh language delivery plans we are writing a vision for Welsh. This will be a statement of our aims for the pupils of the school - what skills and attitudes we would like them to develop during their time at Ysgol Ffordun. We would like to take on board a range of views. Please consider what you think is important about the Welsh language and being Welsh and complete this short, anonymous form. Many thanks. Diolch.

Pantomime

The whole school will be visiting Theatre Severn on Tuesday to see the pantomime Sleeping Beauty. Your child will need to take their water bottle with them. Please do not send any snacks or sweets as the school will provide refreshments for all pupils.

The bus will leave school at 9:00am prompt.

As we are not back in time for school dinners, all pupils will need a packed lunch. If you have ordered a packed lunch through school, this will be provided.

Lexia

Congratulations to Rhian, Fletcher, Cameron, Alexa and Evan for completing a level on Lexia. Well done to Rhys for finishing his final level and completing the whole program.

Our annual Bring & Buy sale will be on Friday 13th December. This is chance to sort through all toys and books before Christmas. Please send in any saleable donations next week.

On Friday, pupils will need a purse or wallet with their name inside and a few coins to spend. The stalls are sorted into items costing 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p or £1. Pupils do not need to bring many coins. Older pupils support the younger ones in using coins to make their purchases. Please also send in a shopping bag/plastic bag.
