Thank you to our PTA, volunteers, teachers, and staff for continuing to make VSY the very best place to learn! Three and a half more days of learning before a well-deserved Spring Break. VSY Staff Appreciation Week
The PTA will be providing breakfast and lunch daily to all staff members, along with a variety of other treats and special services! The schedule of student activities listed here is designed to allow the kids to show their appreciation for our amazing VSY teachers and staff, without putting a lot of extra stress on the parents. THANK YOU to all of our families and community supporters who have donated so generously to this year’s Staff Appreciation Week! It’s never too late to donate! We are still collecting monetary donations to cover snacks, car washes, massage services, and more for our deserving VSY staff. Also- keep those donations coming for our school wide staff raffle! Dear Families, I am excited to share that Book Clubs will be starting after Spring Break! All students are invited to participate. Please see the flyers for specific dates and meeting times. *Note- all meetings are on Thursday mornings except for one date for K-2. 📚 Book Selections by Grade Level
- Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades: Mercy Watson to the Rescue by Kate DiCamillo
- 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades: The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies
Students will be responsible for obtaining their own copy of the book. Families are encouraged to check local libraries or favorite bookstores. There is no need for students to read the book before the first meeting. We will begin with fun introductory activities to get everyone excited and ready for our book clubs.
