Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!
It has been lovely to see everyone back in school and we hope you all had a lovely Christmas holiday. The start of term was not quite what we had planned, with our first day back needing to close due to snow and ice, followed by further snowfall overnight on Thursday. Despite this, it has been wonderful to see the patience and understanding shown by our children, especially when conditions meant they were unable to go out on the pitch. We are very proud of them. A big thank you to Mr Underwood for his hard work in keeping the school site safe during the challenging weather. His efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to a smoother and (hopefully!) warmer half term ahead.
EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS
After-school clubs, including football with Champion Sports UK, will restart next week. Please see below which clubs are on offer this half term.

Young Voices Concert 2026 Friday 6th February
We are really looking forward, to once again, be attending the Young Voices concert at the Co-op Live Arena. It will be an exciting and memorable experience for our pupils as they join thousands of children to sing together in this spectacular event.

Please ensure all consent letters and payments are in by Monday 12th January as this is when we are confirming final numbers.
Any remaining tickets are now being released through arena box offices, please see this link https://youngvoices.co.uk/yv26-tour for full details of how to purchase tickets. If the concert date is not yet on sale through the arena box office, please keep checking back as this page will be updated regularly. Please note that all tickets are subject to availability and once tickets have sold out, further releases will not be made. You can wear a plain white t-shirt or the offical YV T-shirts can be purchased from the YV Shop. Please note that Young Voices do not distribute their products through any third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, so products sold elsewhere are counterfeit.
Kids Club are hoping to open February half term. If anyone is interested in their child(ren) attending, could they please register their interest by Monday 23rd January. Diolch.
Please note - We need a minimum of 12 children to open each day so the days we can open will be dependent on the number of children booked in. Costs - £28 per day for 1st child. - £25 per day per sibling.

If your child is absent from school for any reason, please inform the school office as early as possible on the first day of absence. This helps us ensure all pupils are safe and accounted for, and allows us to keep our attendance records accurate. Please contact the school by phone or email before 9.00am, giving your child’s name, class, and the reason for their absence. If we do not hear from you, we are required to make contact to confirm your child’s whereabouts. Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep all children safe.
