OV Staff Welcomed Back for the 2025-26 School Year
Otselic Valley opened the 2025-26 school year with an Opening Day assembly that brought staff together to reconnect, celebrate milestones, and look ahead.
Board of Education President Dave Cruikshank opened the program by sharing his pride in OV and encouraging everyone to continue building OV Pride in our students and community. Superintendent Brian Collier thanked staff for making the day possible, reviewed the district’s Strategic Plan, and reminded everyone that at the heart of all we do is a commitment to what’s best for students.
A highlight of the assembly was recognizing the dedication and service of our staff:
- 5 Years of Service: Alan Gnau, Justine Huntley, Marisa Raymond, Jessica Stoklosa
- 10 Years of Service: Christine Frink, Elizabeth Hackett
- 15 Years of Service: Sabrina Whorrall
- 20 Years of Service: Stacie Morse
- 25 Years of Service: Colleen Morse, Lisa Moseley
We also extended a warm OV welcome to our newest team members: Nick Baker, Victoria LeDuc, Elizabeth Yaddow, Sean Conley, Savannah Bumpus, Skyler Harvey, Melissa Brown, Corilynn Coye, Alyssa Macrino, Chad Walls, and our new main office secretary Tina Cruikshank.
The Opening Day assembly was a wonderful opportunity to come together, honor staff achievements, welcome new faces, and prepare for another year of growth and success at OV.
