Cell culture and bioprocessing facilities at NHC
  • Cell culture laboratories at the NHC are Biological Hazard Containment Level 2 for experiments involving mammalian and viral cell culture.
  • Mammalian bioreactors are available at laboratory and pilot scales for batch and continuous cultivation.

These facilities are used for research, teaching, contract research and training.

  • This lab contains:
  • 6 biological safety cabinets.
  • CO2 incubators.
  • Fridge and freezer.
  • Water bath and beads bath.
  • Centrifuges.
  • Inverted phase contrast microscopes.

Cell culture suite 2

  • This lab is designated for viral cell culture, and contains:
  • 4 biological safety cabinets.
  • CO2 shaker incubators.
  • Fluorescence and phase contrast microscopes.
  • Applikon ez2-Control.
  • ӒKTA pure chromatography system.
  • Fridge and freezer.
  • Water bath.
