Happy New Year University Community!

Here’s hoping everyone had an enjoyable holiday season. It’s a New Year and the Spring Semester is just ahead.

  • Registration is still underway and to help you get ready for the Spring Semester, we’ve launched a dedicated Spring Preview website. You can explore campus changes, events, experiences, and opportunities.
  • You’ll find information on the University’s ranked programs, profiles on special research, and news about cutting-edge technology being deployed in the University’s digital learning environments.
  • Integrated campus web hubs provide focused information for Future Dustdevils, Registration, and an exclusive TAMIU NewsHub. A special social media panel showcases campus life. Check it out!
  • There’s been widespread concern and confusion over the recent soft launch of the U.S. Education Department’s new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). That’s why TAMIU is hosting a series of free FAFSA Drives, “FAFSA For U,” to help students navigate the new application. The first will be Wednesday, Jan. 10. Subsequent sessions continue through January, February, and March. Details below.
  • University offices will be closed for a State-authorized observance of the Martin Luther King Holiday, Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, and Spring semester classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 16. Late registration ends Monday, Jan. 22.

We’re looking forward to a great Spring semester! Go Dustdevils!
