Are you ready to read about the newest addition to the expansive Barbie universe? In an exclusive first look, Barbie is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of the Best to Be Me Collection! This soon-to-be-released doll line features three unique neurodivergent dolls and a wide variety of sensory-friendly accessories!
These dolls will also come with their own chapter book detailing their experiences as neurodiverse individuals and offering conversation starters to get you and your friends talking about the extensive opportunities that inclusive play brings. 🛝
While we can’t spill all our biggest secrets just yet, some distinctive features of this collection that you can look forward to include:
- Sensory Friendly Clothing: The clothing included in this doll line will be created using bamboo fabric. This sustainable material is not only better for the planet but also breathable and hypoallergenic!
- Fidget Accessories: Each doll will be outfitted with their very own fidget accessories that also double as fully functional toys meant to encourage tactile play.
- Posable Appendages: The dolls in the Best to Be Me collection have all been designed with posable appendages to allow for stimulated stimming or different body posturing in the play of these dolls.
- Augmented and Alternative Communication (AAC) cards: AAC cards often help neurodivergent individuals nonverbally express themselves. A small pack of AAC cards included the Tracie and Evie dolls.
