PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Dear Bluejay Family,

We are excited to share that our courtyard renovation is nearing completion, and we can already envision the joyful gatherings it will host. TThis week, our students will add a special blessing to the foundation by writing their favorite Scripture verses or short prayers to be placed beneath the new gathering space—a lasting Bluejay mark for generations to come.

A heartfelt thank-you to all parents who completed last week’s Security and Safety Survey. The results were shared with the Advisory Council at Friday’s meeting along with the results of a campus assessment conducted by security professionals. We continue to ensure every measure is being taken to protect our students and staff. Your thoughtful feedback, along with the assessment results, will help shape our next steps as we continue to prioritize the safety and security of our campus.

Grace & Peace,

Erin B. Henry

Principal

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Are You an SCS Alum?

We love celebrating the generations of Bluejays who continue to be part of the St. Cecilia family! If you’re a proud SCS alum, we’d love for you to update your information at www.scsbluejays.org/alumni

There’s so much happening on campus, and we want to make sure our alumni stay connected and in the know. Take a minute to share your current contact information—you won’t want to miss what’s coming next!

Tomorrow begins 5 Days for the Bluejays, our family giving week for the St. Cecilia Fund.

The St. Cecilia Fund directly supports the education and formation of every student who walks through our doors.

Our goal is 100% family participation. When we reach 75% participation, every student will run in the Color Run. And don’t forget — the first class to hit 100% participation will get hosed off by the fire department at the end of the run! Their teacher will receive $100 Amazon Gift Card.

Important Clarification: There is no sign-up required for the Color Run. By donating to the St. Cecilia Fund this week, you are helping the school reach the 75% participation goal so that all students can take part.

Will you prayerfully consider making a gift today?

Last Call for Color Run Sponsors~You still have the opportunity to be on the banner and receive social media recognition.

Is your child missing a sweatshirt, lunchbox, or water bottle? Now you can check our Lost & Found online! Simply visit the Lost & Found site, browse the items, and fill out the form to claim your child’s belongings. No more guessing—find what’s lost with just a few clicks!
Please join us on Saturday, November 22nd, for the 21st Annual Broussard Community Fair 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run! We are excited to continue the tradition of kicking off the Broussard Community Fair and raising funds to support our wonderful parish & community. We want to thank all of the past sponsors, participants, supporters & volunteers, and hope to gain your support again this year in our efforts! Enjoy a new route this year! Flat, straight, and fast, that takes runners right through the middle of Downtown Broussard!
We kindly ask that registration be completed by October 1st so we’re ready for our next meeting on Thursday, October 2nd. At this meeting, students will give short speeches (one minute or less) and vote for our new club officers. We’re excited to kick off a great year in 4-H!
