Third Graders Meet Their ELA Challenge
Students in Mr. Gross’s third grade class recently took on a unique challenge tied to their ELA test performance. Mr. Gross made a deal with his students: if at least 80% of the class earned a score of 80 or higher, he would take a bite out of a raw onion.
The class rose to the occasion, meeting the goal, and Mr. Gross held up his end of the bargain. Students were excited to see their teacher follow through, and the moment added a bit of fun and motivation to their hard work in the classroom.
