SECURITY INFORMATION
West Point is an active military installation and security is a top priority. To access West Point you must enter through a secure checkpoint. Team vans and buses should be checked prior to leaving your campus or hotel as all vehicles are subject to inspection at the gate. The event manager will reach out to teams a week prior to the game with a bus placard to be placed in the front window. This placard will allow access on to West Point. All personnel should have proper photo identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) in hand at the checkpoint.

OFFICIALS/REFEREES
Prior to game day, the event manager will send out an email requesting information that will be used to create an access manifest. From this the official will be given a pass that will grant access to West Point for the corresponding season. To pick up the pass go to the Visitor Control Center on 2107 New South Post Rd, West Point, NY 10996.
A person is granted unescorted access onto the installation of they are in possession of any one of the following forms of ID:
DoD Common Access Card (CAC): Standard ID for active and reserve uniform personnel, DoD civilian employees, eligible contractors, and designated foreign nationals.
DD Form 2, DD Form 1173 (Uniformed Services ID & Privilege Card): Issued to military dependents and retirees.
Local Access Credential (LAC): For those visitors not affiliated to the Department of Defense (DoD). This is issued to those visitors that successfully pass a NCIC-III background check and do not otherwise meet the requirements for a Common Access Card (CAC).
Casual Visitor Pass: Visitors who successfully pass a NCIC-III background check at the West Point Visitor Center Control Center (VCC) will be issued a Casual Visitor Pass stamped with the date(s) of the visit and allowed unescorted access onto the instillation. A visitor pass may be issued for up to thirty (30) days.

The United States Military Academy is a national historic institution. The United States Military Academy and Army West Point Athletics have developed evacuation plans in the event of an emergency. If the need for an evacuation went into effect, an assigned Army West Point Athletics staff member would assist both teams and game officials out of the competition venue. Please consult your designated event manager upon arrival for further information regarding venue evacuation.

WHAT GATE SHOULD OUR TEAM ENTER?
Team buses must enter through Stony Lonesome Gate (1 Stony Lonesome Rd.). Fans and teams arriving in vans or personal vehicles can enter through Thayer Gate or Stony Lonesome Gate. Team vehicles/buses need to have placard displayed in the front window.
WHAT DO PARENTS/FANS NEED TO ENTER?
Fans 18 years of age and above with a valid U.S. issued driver’s license or passport will be allowed to enter through Thayer Gate or Stony Lonesome Gate but must first obtain a Local Area Credential from the West Point Visitor Control Center. This process requires a valid, government-issued ID and takes 15-20 minutes with no line. However, high volumes of visitors can cause significant delays.

ARE LOCKER ROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes, locker rooms will be made available, although they may not be located in the immediate vicinity of the competition venue. The designated event manager will confirm your locker room needs and assignment prior to your arrival.
ARE TOWELS PROVIDED?
Army West Point Athletics does not provide towels.
CAN WE PRACTICE AT WEST POINT PRIOR TO THE COMPETITION?
Yes. Please reach out to the coaching staff or your designated event manager to coordinate practice location and time at least two weeks in advance.
CAN WE REQUEST A TOUR OF WEST POINT?
Tours of West Point are subject to availability. Please reach out to your designated event manager as soon as possible to coordinate and we will do the best we can to accommodate.
WHAT DO I NEED TO ENTER WEST POINT?
