We're located on more than 15 acres on the southeastern corner of the University of North Dakota campus in Grand Forks. Our complex houses more than 254,000 sq ft of laboratories, technology demonstration facilities, and offices.

Seven pilot-scale test units to demonstrate combustion of solid and liquid fuels such as coal, biomass, sewage sludge, and oil slurries

100+ bench and pilot-scale technologies

More than 54,000 sq ft of demonstration facilities

In-house engineering design support

10,000 sq ft of high-bay demonstration space for development and demonstration of non-petroleum-derived liquid fuels (renewable, diesel, and gasoline) and hydrogen

Specialized team includes operators, engineers, a master electrician, a master plumber, and two certified pipe welders.

In-house machine shop for on-site design and fabrication of equipment and machinery
