Will the amount that plants grow change if the enviornment is bad? by group 3

HYPOTHESIS

Our hypothesis is that yes plants with bad enviornments wont grow as well as plants with good enviornments. We're going to test to see if plants with sun and water grow better than plants with no sun or plants with no water or plants with neither. We think the one with sun and water will grow the most and the one with none of it will grow the lest

TEST

We planted 4 bean seeds in soil and pots and here is how they are set up to go

  1. The first one is normal, in good soil on the window sill with sunlight and regular watering
  2. The second one is in good soil but in a cabinet with regular watering
  3. The third one is in the window sill but it will get watered only one time a week
  4. The fourth one won't get any water or any sun

RESULTS

  1. The plant with all the good stuff grew to be 6 inches
  2. The plant with water and no sun grew to be 3 inches and is very pale compared too the sunshine one
  3. The plant with no water but sunshine didnt grow at all
  4. The plant with nothing at all didn't grow at all

CONCLUSION

Our groups conclusion is that plants need sun and water to be the most healthy they can be but that the sun is less important than the water. We think this because the plant with no sun but with water still grew somewhat.
