About me

I am a senior at Englewood high school. Personally, Journalism has always interested me and this is not my first time taking a Journalism class. I have worked on a small number of stories for The Pirateer. I hope to go to ACC next year to pursue Electrical Engineering.

In November of 2000, a musical theater buff took the story of Horton the Who by Dr Seuss and turned it into a Broadway show. Now, Englewood students are bringing it to life on the EHS stage. Seussical the Musical has been received by sell-out audiences at EHS.

Summary

Through Journalism, I have learned the importance of pure transparency and the ethics that go behind Journalism. I now know that documenting the truth and nothing but the truth is one of the most important rules that we must abide by. Honestly, it doesn't bug me at all. Transparency is important and I always want the journalists that I follow to maintain it.
