With Advanced Placement (AP) tests coming around the corner, many students wonder how to study. Believe me, I know that it can be stressful for lots of people. Here are some of the ways that I've studied and how effective they are!
Lifehack 1: Learn Backwards
Learning backwards involves looking at how the exam is structured before actually doing any studying. This can help give you an advantage before you begin.
Rating: 9/10. Knowing what you have to do ahead of time makes it easy for you to start! You can get right to it once you figure out how the exam works.
Lifehack 2: High-Yield List
Similar to the first lifehack, figuring out what subjects make up the highest percentage of questions on the exam makes it easier to get started.
Rating: 10/10. Knowing what you need to study helps a LOT! You can virtually skip everything and get right to the biggest part of the exam.
Lifehack 3: Blurt Sheet
Using a blurt sheet (or remembering things in your head) on the day of your exam can give you an advantage, as it helps promote active recall and working memory. (In case you don't know, a blurt sheet is a study method where you write down everything you can remember at the start of the exam.)
Rating: 8/10. Putting your stress into remembering what's important can help get rid of the stress. It also keeps you ready and prepared for the exam.
