It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere we go! Do you have your tree up yet?

It is the season for decorations of red and green, cups of hot cocoa, singing carols, and writing letters to Santa. Amongst the busy times of this winter season, we hope you take advantage of every opportunity to experience all the joy and wonder of Christmas with your family and friends!

Mark Your Calendar:

  • December 12th - Kona Ice Fundraiser Reward
  • December 12th - Christmas Performance for 4th & 5th grades
  • December 13th - Character Ed Pep Rallies
  • December 16th - Limo Ride Fundraiser Event
  • December 16th - Tacky Sweater Day (wear your most festive holiday sweater/shirt)
  • December 17th - Holiday Character Day (dress as your favorite holiday/winter character - ex. Rudolph, Grinch, Frosty, etc.)
  • December 18th - Polar Express Day (wear your favorite school appropriate pajamas) and Early Release Day (PreK 11:00, K-2nd 11:15, 3rd-5th 11:30)
  • December 19th - Holiday Hat Day and Early Release Day (PreK 11:00, K-2nd 11:15, 3rd-5th 11:30)
  • December 19th - Pre-K Christmas Program
  • December 19th - End of second 9 week grading period
  • December 20th - January 5th - Christmas Break
  • January 6th - Students return to school

Character Word of the Month

Grateful

Grateful means feeling thankful and happy for something good that happened or something nice that someone did. It involves both feeling and expressing thankfulness, and showing appreciation for others.

Here are some ways you can show gratitude:

  • Practice saying thank you to others.
  • Write a thank you note.
  • Look for the good in every situation, even the difficult ones.

Christmas Break

We hope all of our Bulldog families have a very Merry Christmas!

School will be closed for winter break December 20th - January 5th.

Students return to school on Monday, January 6th.

Full STEAM Ahead

Our teachers do an awesome job incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math into exciting hands on tasks and projects for our students. This makes learning fun and meaningful when students work together to solve real world problems by being creative and innovative.

Cereal Drive

Thank you for supporting our community with all of your cereal donations! Your kindness and generosity were such a blessing for many families within our community. Congratulations to Mrs. Aycock's Kindergarten Class for bringing in the most boxes of cereals!

Our featured December Difference Maker of the Month is Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow is an American professional baseball player, former professional football player, 3x NY Times best-selling author, international speaker, and ESPN sports broadcaster. The Tim Tebow Foundation provides for the physical and spiritual care of children who have been left homeless or abandoned.
