Counseling for Children and Adolescence
My primary experience is working with children and adolescents and their families in coping with life's stressors, more significant mental health symptoms and medical conditions, developing effective coping and communication patterns. In treatment, it is my goal to work alongside your child and you to find resources and coping skills to handle overwhelming experiences. I support children suffering from anxiety about therapy and provides a safe place to process difficult emotions. I have a chronic disabiling medical condition and I specialize working with children with disabilities. I am also a school psychologist and I have a lot of experience working within the school systems and how to advocate for children to get their needs met.

I work with children, adolescence and their families to identify emotions and expected communication. I utilize the Kimochis and social thinking curriculum in my practice with young children. I provide parenting strategies to accompany what the child is learning in sessions. Most children and families are improvement in emotion regulation and communication and continued use of strategies.
I support children with high-functioning Autism, ADHD, Bipolar, Anxiety, OCD, Learning Disabilities, Medical disabilities and families going through Divorce or trauma.
Payment
Sessions: $250 individual
$275 reunification between parent and child
I do not accept insurance. I am in network with Lyra or I can provide you with a statement for reimbursement with your insurance company.
