Health Occupations Pinning Ceremony
Congratulations to our Health Occupations students (Marina Dias, Norah Knowles, Hannah Moylan, Kylie Shaw, and Emily Young) who participated in their Pinning Ceremony on Tuesday, May 28th. The Pinning Ceremony occurs at the end of a student’s program in a school of nursing and signifies the completion of this level of education and official initiation into the profession.

Senior Survey
If you haven't completed your senior survey yet, please do so as soon as possible! This is where you will tell us where to send your final transcript, if your plan is to attend college, and provide us contact information. You cannot receive your cap & gown unless you have completed this survey.
AP Scores
If you have taken an AP class this year, you have until June 20th to send one score report for free to the college/university you are attending. Click the link below to send your scores for free:

SUMMER COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES!
Don't forget, 50 hours of community service is part of your graduation requirements. Setting a goal of completing 10 to 15 hours each year of high school will help to set you up for achieving this requirement in no time! Summer is a great time for you to earn community service hours! Below are some awesome summer opportunities:
Eliot Connects Summer Kickoff
Eliot Connects is looking for volunteers to help set up and run their summer kickoff event on June 8th. Click the link below to sign up!
Summer Boost Program
Interested in earning community service hours this summer? Consider the Summer Boost Programs at Great Works School and Marshwood Middle School! Responsibilities include helping out the classroom teacher, reading and playing games with students, playground supervision and helping out with student arrival and dismissal.
Students who volunteer can earn 60-65 hours of community service and get free breakfast and lunch every day of the program!
Summer Boost will take place from July 9th to August 1st on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (12 days total). Staff hours are between 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, and there will be a 2-3 hour training prior to the start of the program.

Family Resource: Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) in Sanford
Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) are behavioral health organizations that provide a broad range of community behavioral health services. CCBHCs focus on coordinated care and use of evidence-based practices for individuals across their lifespan, regardless of their ability to pay. We are happy to share that Sweetzer has received a grant to open a brand new mental health and substance use clinic in Sanford!
Services include, but are not limited to:
- Outpatient mental health and substance use screening, assessment & diagnosis
- Treatment for outpatient mental health and subtance use disorder
- 24/7 mobile crisis response and crisis stabilization
- Case management services
- Peer support services
- Psychiatric medication management and care coordination

Family Resource: Gather Mobile Market
Families who need access to fresh, healthy food can access the Gather Mobile Market in the parking lot of the Wentworth Douglass Hospital's Spinelli Building (15 Old Rollinsford Rd., Dover, NH). Gather will be at this location every other Monday from 12 pm to 2 pm. There are no obligations or requirements to access the food pantry. Family Resource: Footprints Food Pantry
Footprints Food Pantry (31 Old Post Rd. in Kittery) exists to reduce the impact of hunger in the community, share resources, and support the lives of those who have joined the Footprints community. They are open for food distribution on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 PM, Wednesdays 9:30 AM-12:30 PM, and Saturdays from 9-10 AM. They also deliver to families who cannot access the food pantry in person.
