COOLROOMS HOTEL EXPANSION TO PORTUGAL 2024

November 8, 2023 . . . CoolRooms Hotels is an award-winning collection of hotels and travel experiences with three properties in Spain - Palacio de Atocha in Madrid, Palacio de Villapanés in Seville, and Palacio de Luces in Asturias - and two new openings in 2024-2025 in Porto and Lisbon (Portugal) as part of its international expansion plan.

CoolRooms belongs to the Didra Group, with over 70 years of experience in the real estate sector in addition to 13 hotels (1,409 rooms) managed by third parties or under its own brand, CoolRooms Hotels was created precisely by the group's desire to start managing some of its properties.

CoolRooms Hotels always operates in the same way: identifying emblematic buildings in the heart of cities or in privileged natural settings that, after careful restoration, are transformed into hotels that convey the grandeur of the past combined with the best contemporary details and utmost comfort. Through this effort, they create a very seductive narrative that incorporates design and technology into its strong culture of luxury and service to successfully achieve CoolRooms' main goal: Elevating the Art of Travel.

It is a symmetrical and rectangular construction, with a two-story façade and a mansard roof with wavy cornices and sculpted granite stone. A sumptuous setting, CoolRooms is carrying out a meticulous restoration to bring its exciting history back to life and create 49 rooms with all the contemporary comforts.
