November 8, 2023 . . . CoolRooms Hotels is an award-winning collection of hotels and travel experiences with three properties in Spain - Palacio de Atocha in Madrid, Palacio de Villapanés in Seville, and Palacio de Luces in Asturias - and two new openings in 2024-2025 in Porto and Lisbon (Portugal) as part of its international expansion plan.
CoolRooms belongs to the Didra Group, with over 70 years of experience in the real estate sector in addition to 13 hotels (1,409 rooms) managed by third parties or under its own brand, CoolRooms Hotels was created precisely by the group's desire to start managing some of its properties.
CoolRooms Hotels always operates in the same way: identifying emblematic buildings in the heart of cities or in privileged natural settings that, after careful restoration, are transformed into hotels that convey the grandeur of the past combined with the best contemporary details and utmost comfort. Through this effort, they create a very seductive narrative that incorporates design and technology into its strong culture of luxury and service to successfully achieve CoolRooms' main goal: Elevating the Art of Travel.
To this end, at the beginning of each project, CoolRooms brings together a distinguished group of collaborators - from historians to restorers, craftsmen, architects, interior designers, and top-tier designers - capable of turning each hotel into a holistic project with significant cultural impact.
CoolRooms Hotels also places vital importance on positively contributing to the places where its projects are located, becoming a strategic ally of local actors - craftsmen, producers, merchants - while providing its guests with the most genuine experiences.
The CoolRooms Hotels collection currently consists of three active properties and two under restoration and design, all located in emblematic buildings in urban centers or in privileged natural settings in Spain and Portugal.
