I am a sculptor whose contemporary figurative work bridges the past and present, inviting us to examine our shared human experience. For the last three decades, I have explored the aesthetic and narrative power of reclaimed wood, clay, and found objects, transforming overlooked materials into poetic sculptures that challenge, inspire, and connect. My unconventional path to art has shaped a voice uniquely my own. My technical mastery is not confined to traditional academic training but has instead evolved through years of intuitive exploration. I integrate weathered wood, dulled metal, machine part molds, and other remnants of daily life—each carrying its own history—into sculptures that reveal both the resilience and fragility of the human condition. Through a delicate balance of tension and harmony, my work explores themes of identity, displacement, and connection, inviting viewers into a deeply contemplative space.

Clinard’s unconventional path to art has shaped a voice uniquely her own. Her technical mastery is not confined to traditional academic training but has instead evolved through years of intuitive exploration. She seamlessly integrates weathered wood, dulled metal, machine part molds, and other remnants of daily life—each carrying its own history—into sculptures that reveal both the resilience and fragility of the human condition. Through a delicate balance of tension and harmony, her work explores themes of identity, displacement, and connection, inviting viewers into a deeply contemplative space.
Her work has been widely exhibited and collected, with a recent acquisition by the Fenix Museum in Rotterdam. This installation was first discovered in a Silvermine exhibition, THE GOLDEN DOOR. Her extensive public commissions and exhibitions span museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide.
Her work has been described as having a "clear luminosity that is both contemporary and timeless," with a "poetic intensity that captivates and compels." Critics have praised her ability to create sculptures that "stop viewers in their tracks," drawing them into a dialogue of empathy, history, and transformation. Her ability to translate raw human emotion into sculptural form invites deep reflection, urging audiences to pause, engage, and connect beyond themselves.
At the heart of Clinard’s artistic practice is a deep commitment to reflecting the times in which we live. Through her sculptures, she challenges viewers to look inward, to recognize their shared humanity, and to work toward peace—within themselves, their communities, and the larger global society. Her work serves as both a mirror and a call to action, urging us to engage with the world with greater compassion, understanding, and responsibility.
