The Comedy Vault is Proud to Partner with Chip In Batavia!
Chip In Batavia is dedicated to supporting students and families in the BPS101 district who are experiencing temporary housing challenges or are part of the free/reduced lunch program. Their mission is to ensure that financial obstacles never stand in the way of a student’s success or their ability to participate fully in school programs and activities. They work tirelessly to create equal opportunities for all students, helping them thrive academically and socially alongside their peers. Additionally, Chip In assists families with essential needs, including rent, utilities, transportation, and daycare.

Here’s how you can make an impact:
Happy Summer! School is back in session on August 14th, and working on school supplies for RMS and BHS. Elementary students get all supplies needed at school, but could use extra earbuds and over the ear headphones.
We always need reusable water bottles students can refill during the school day. And leggings fo the nurses office- all sizes
We are in good shape, thanks to prior donations, a grant to purchase some supplies and a huge thank you to Bethany Lutheran Church for doing a supply drive now, and to Avantor Sciences for organizing a work project to provide 30 filled backpacks.
We can use help with backpacks and calculators (calculators are expensive!!). Gently used clean or new backpacks, and grateful for any used calculators!
Drop off at BPS101 office, 335 W. Wilson, 8-3PM Monday-Thursday, and 8-12 on Friday. There will be a box to drop off donations. THANK YOU! Below is a list of calculators the different grades use! THANK YOU!!!

Donate to the Chicken Salad Chick Food Drive
Help Fox Valley Christian Church with food for weekend backpack program- they deliver backpacks filled with food for a weekend to 20-30 families every week. Students return backpacks on Monday and it repeats weekly! Please stop by Chicken Salad Chick and donate/drop off donations!
DONATE LEGOS AND DUPLOS
Chip In is working on a Lego and Duplo based Stem program for Batavia Apartments, an idea brought to us by a wise retired teacher! If you are spring cleaning and have used legos or duplos you can part with, please drop them off Batavia Public School District 101 office on, 335 W. Wilson Street during business hours, 8am-4pm. Thank you for your generosity!

We’re excited to introduce two new programs aimed at giving back to our neighbors and local workers:
Good Neighbor Thursdays
Every Thursday, we’re opening our doors to the people who make Batavia, Aurora, St. Charles, and Geneva so special. If you live or work in these areas, you’re invited to enjoy a free comedy show on us. Simply enter the code GOODNEIGHBOR at checkout to reserve your spot for any non-special event show. It’s our way of bringing neighbors together for a night of unwinding and enjoying great comedy.

INDUSTRY NIGHTS
We know how hard you work, and we want to give back to those who keep our local businesses thriving. That’s why we’re launching Industry Nights—valid for most Thursday shows and late shows on Friday and Saturday (non-special events). If you work in the area, show proof of employment at the door and use the code INDUSTRY at checkout to receive free entry into our shows. It’s a small token of our appreciation for everything you do.

MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS—to us, to our comedians, and to our community.
Like so many others, members of our team, our comedians, and our community have faced struggles with mental health—whether personally or through loved ones. We know that laughter is powerful, but so is honest conversation and support. That’s why we’re committed to breaking the stigma and doing our part to make a difference.
We’re proud to announce that 3% of all merch proceeds will be donated to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to help fund resources, education, and advocacy for those affected by mental health challenges.
Because comedy isn’t just about making people laugh—it’s about connection, healing, and reminding people that they’re not alone.
