BIOGRAPHY

Tony swing has worked as a vocalist and performer with several of the most well known international merengue groups, for example, New York Band, Coco Band, Banda Loca and Oro Solido to name a few. I have my own record Album which became available in the market in 2000, it can be found under 'Tony Swing- Por Fin'. Tony swing has performed around the world (Japan, colombia, mexico, Europe,and the USA) since 1987.

Tony swing had the privilege of performing at the Manhattan Center in New York with the late Tito Puente on his last birthday celebration (Viva la Musica Latina) with other big Latin performers. This performance was shown on Pay Per View and a mini clip will be available for your viewing. Our music includes merengue, reggaeton, bachata, salsa and hip hop.

Dominican Merengue can operate at speeds so superhuman that the grace requisite of its dancers is nothing short of miraculous. It's as if the dance floor itself becomes energized by the vigor of a performing dynamo like Tony Swing. Swing spent over a decade fronting internationally renowned merengue outfits (Pochy y su Cocoband; Oro Sólido) before turning to film work and a solo career. The die hard will be out in force to see what new tricks he's going to unveil in his recent return to the limelight.
