Outage Text Alerts provide real-time updates sent directly to your mobile phone, including outage notifications, estimated restoration times, and confirmation when power has been restored. To make sure you receive these updates, it is important that your contact information is current. A valid mobile number and email address allow us to quickly share outage information and other important account notifications.

This March, CGEMC is launching a refreshed website designed to make it easier to find what you need, when you need it. Frequently used tools—including My Account, Billing and Payments, Outages, and Ways to Pay—will be easier to access with clearer menus and improved navigation. The new site also organizes information into simple sections like Services, Energy Solutions, Community, and Youth Programs, helping members quickly locate programs, resources, and updates. Watch for the transition in March to explore the new CGEMC website. We look forward to rolling out this improved online experience created to better serve our members every day.

When members install qualifying energy-efficient heat pumps or electric water heaters, they receive valuable rebates while supporting smarter energy use during high-demand periods. Through a simple load management switch, participating equipment can briefly reduce use when demand peaks. System Inspections
CGEMC has contracted with Cappstone Energy Group LLC to perform system inspections in Spalding County. Cappstone Energy Group LLC technicians will have signs on their vehicles (pickup trucks and UTVs) identifying them as CGEMC contractors.
