Well done to Silver, Cody, Leo G, Lucas, Jack, Reya, Tilly, Frida and Alice who competed today in the Todd Woodbridge Stage 2 regional round at Byron Bay. All students played exceptionally, but were unsuccessful at proceeding to the State Finals. All were congratulated on their great sportsmanship and good manners. Newcastle permanent Maths Competition

There were thousands of entrants from over 350 schools across NSW competing in this maths competition. The questions were extremely difficult with a strict time limit. Congratulations to Dante, Lile and Kaiuss for being awarded Distinctions and Jack P a Merit (missing a Distinction by just 1 point). Only the top 16.5 percent of students are awarded a distinction. We are very proud of the acheivements of these students and all students who competed.
