Chalk Drawing

Staples Courtyard

Students were provided many different colors of chalk, which they used to create chalk drawings in the courtyard. Many students and teachers participated, all leaving behind a piece of art to contribute to the display.

Students make a chalk hopscotch, similar to those from elementary school, bringing back old nostalgia

Teddy

Teddy, a seven-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, belongs to Angela Simpson, an art teacher at Staples. She often draws portraits and paintings of him, displayed in her art room in the art wing of Staples.

Kilian

Kilian is a golden retriever and is owned by an English teacher at Staples,

Colby

Colby is a 13-year-old beagle, and has been a therapy dog for over six years.

Themba

Themba, meaning trust in South Africa, was named by her owner who lived and grew up in South Africa.

Bob Hale- Magician

Inside Auditorium

Magician Bob Hale entertained in the Staples Auditorium, performing tricks such as making money appear from an empty box and linking solid rings together. He often called up student participants to make his tricks even more impressive and unplanned.

Bunnies

Alexia Damian '27 and Sophia Sheng '27 hold two of the many bunnies in the petting zoo, all of different colors and sizes

Cow

One of the petting zoo caretakers scratches the cow, who is often overlooked over the smaller animals

Goats

Pigs + Chickens

The petting zoo also had pigs, chickens, and one guinea pig, all of which students could hold with the help of the animal caretakers.

Outdoor activities

Football Field

Connect 4

The outdoor activities took place on the football field and the baseball field. There were many activities, including water balloons, capture the flag, tug of war, cornhole, spikeball, connect four and kickball.

Wrecker Fest Trophy

The winning grade, based on attendance, the best decorated hallway, the winner of penny wars, the food drive and the fastest pitch/shot, will win the class champion trophy, until next year's Wrecker Fest.
