State Of Being
Energy & Concentration
This is a space for those who are struggling to respond to their environment and make sense of their world.

Our Early Years
Temperament & Attachment
infant temperament and early life experiences shape the differences that then create enduring patterns in what has a priority in our mental life
Dan Siegel
Early attachment experiences echo their stories through our nervous system and relationships as we grow and develop. These patterns can be stubborn but are able to be re-patterned.
Emotions
The Body Is Their Theater
Emotional intelligence teaches us to negotiate our emotions, rather than be strangled by or absent from them. Striving to understand the nature of feelings, as they vacillate between opposite polarities is our work. They are telling us things about our wellbeing if we can learn to listen.
Stress & Crisis
Personal & Collective Trauma
When trauma wounds develop from either chronic stress or a world-shattering crisis, the wound can take many forms. From both a personal and collective perspective, earlier stories can leave the deepest impressions, etched into our patterns of everyday being. The collective trauma patterns in our environment ricochet through the institutional realities that seem frozen in their own lack of functioning.
Stories
Trauma's And
There are those of us who have experienced unimaginable suffering as children in a world where the adults, professionals, and institutions should have done much better. It has been our stories that have sustained us across historical, relational, and sociocultural contexts.
The Tricksters
Archetypal Patterns
Often stories of suffering, imposed from environmental stress and trauma, also contain the search for answers in hollowed out institutions, where tricksters, emperors, and anointed queens can be found wandering the halls, collecting their money while offering crumbs of dusty, old-school wisdom that cannot sustain an individual's suffering through our current toxic environmental storm. The power of people in institutions can distort both what takes form and what continues to inform. This is why "narratives" are so important.
Personality Patterns
Body, Heart, & Head
Our dominant personality pattern develops from our inborn temperament as well as our experiences in the world. Each of these patterns define how we experience the world different from the eight other patterns in terms of both environmental survival strategies and adaptations. Understanding our personality patterns also helps us understand how other perceive us.

Experiences
Self-Concept & Social Support
Individuals act within particular narratives of their world. Our beliefs, understandings, and meanings are intersubjective and, at times, contested. Here, we will story our body and minds toward the possibilities of creating new experiences with others and in our world.
