Project Description
The Hiawatha Valley Education District (HVED) Remodel Project is a complete renovation of the existing Winona Mall location. This renovated facility is comprised to support and help grow the SAIL and SPECTRUM programs. This includes an infrastructure and utility renovation with a new water main, new electrical service, and sanitary service into the building, as well as completing eight brand new classrooms, three sensory rooms, four motor & activity rooms, two life-skills section, many accessible finishes including the addition of eleven indoor sensory swings and a 9,000 square foot exterior playground & recreation area with privacy fencing and safety surfacing. This HVED project is taking the three facilities and combining into one location to support growing school and additional learning programs in a growing community.
