WHO IS ELLE MAY VARLEY???
I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in West Yorkshire and my practice explores the impact of the digital world on our everyday lives. Through photography, installation, sculpture, film, and more, I examine how technology influences our behaviour, identity, and relationships. I am particularly interested in taking back the time the digital realm takes from us, using virtual material to ironically probe and question this. My work is a brutal confrontation to the silent power technology holds over us, and is an invitation for people to consider themselves within this.
