Things got weird when the Nebraska captains did not extend hands for the customary handshake.
The Husker's marched right down the field on their opening drive, but resulted in a field goal.
Kirk Ferentz looks up at the scorecard as Nebraska threatens to score at the end of the half.

Iowa tries to muster up a goal line stand at the end of the half, but fails to keep the Huskers out of the end zone.

The Cornhuskers held a 10-0 lead at halftime and would receive the kickoff to open the 3rd quarter.

During the 3rd quarter, the Hawkeyes were in business after a muffed punt return off the foot of Rhys Dakin.

Nebraska's special team player made contact with the ball forcing a fumble.

Hawkeye John Nestor recovers the fumble inside the 5 yard line.

After the Husker's muffed punt and the converted field goal, the momentum of the game turned in the Hawkeyes' favor. On the first play of the 4th quarter, RB Kaleb Johnson catches a swing pass from QB Jackson Stratton and takes it to the house - 72 yards for the Iowa touchdown.

Suddenly the game is knotted 10-10. The Iowa defense ratchets up the pressure and focus on stripping the ball.

With 22 seconds remaining in the game, the Huskers driving towards field goal range, DE Max Llewellyn strips the ball from QB Dylan Raiola and recovers the fumble.

After video review that confirms the fumble and recovery, Kaleb Johnson and Nick Jackson celebrate as the Hawkeyes take over in field goal range of K Drew Stevens.

K Drew Stevens kicks the game winner - a 53-yarder that just sneaks inside the right goalpost. Hayden Large helps with the body English.
Jay Higgins leaves Duke Slater Field for his final time.

The Hawkeyes defeat Nebraska 13-10 in the regular season finale to finish the regular season at 8-4 overall and 6-3 in the Big Ten.
