Oh Seung-hwan of Samsung 'finished' the season with 400 saves
On October 14, the last home game of the Samsung Lions' 2023 season against Daegu SSG, Oh Seung-hwan built a golden tower of 400 saves. Hanwha Noh Soo-kwang's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning against Doosan in Daejeon on April 19 made two RBIs and became the winning hit. The record was held by only seven people, following former Haetae Jung Hoe-yeol and former Samsung Choi Hae-myung. Noh Soo-kwang is the eighth player in history and the third player from Hanwha to be listed on the joyous and sad two-run record.
Meanwhile, the fall baseball festival will be held starting with the first game of the wild card decision between the Doosan Bears (5th) and the NC Dinos (4th) at Changwon NC Park on the 19th.
