- Here’s hoping you are enjoying your time away with good health and safety foremost in mind... just as we shared at last week’s Spring Break Revolution.
- A reminder... while faculty and students are away, services are available at TAMIU Monday-Thursday, March 13. TAMIU offices will close for Spring Break on Friday, March 14.
- Maymester, Summer, and Fall schedules are now available. While you’re away, you can set up advising appointments and register for classes with details here and on the Registration Hub.

- The Big Event is Saturday, March 22 at the Haynes Recreation Center. Join hundreds of your classmates, friends, faculty, staff, and alumni as we gather to show how Dustdevils can impact this community. Find out more.
- Also ahead, our traditional Discover TAMIU, (now in its 11th years of offer,) is Saturday, March 29 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. We’ll have over 120 activities, events and performances for audiences of all ages. It’s free, family fun and open to all. It helps us to share TAMIU’s dynamic story of the changes and opportunities that the University makes real every day.

Baseball
- March 14 vs. Lubbock Christian University; 2 p.m. Haynes Field
- March 15 vs. Lubbock Christian University; 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Haynes Field
- March 16 vs. Lubbock Christian University; 1 p.m.
Softball
- Plays away games with UT-Tyler (March 14) and Texas Woman’s University (March 16).

TAMIU to Observe Spring Break, University Offices Close March 14
TAMIU students and faculty will observe Spring Break for the week of March 10 - 14, 2025.
University offices remain open for full services but will close in an authorized Spring Break observance on Friday, March 14. Offices reopen and classes resume Monday, March 17.
Registration for Maymester, Summer, and Fall 2025 begins Monday, April 7 at 8 a.m. An individual's registration start date, and time is based on a phased registration schedule.

TAMIU QEP to Host LEARN Activities March 18

The Big Event Returns Saturday, March 22
Join us Saturday, March 22 for a day of service and giving back to our community! Volunteers earn community service hours and work alongside members of our University community to beautify Laredo.
