Is it cheaper if I pay cash?- No! We collect taxes on all items sold and cannot discount taxes.

How do I keep my hat in good shape? -Great Question! While we cannot guarantee a bull won't stomp on your hat, we have some tips to keeping her looking good.

  • Flat Brim Hats- store on its brim.
  • Curved Brim Hats- store out of the box, upside down on her crown.
  • DO NOT STORE in direct sunlight.
  • Wipe straws with a baby wipe. periodically.
  • Cleaning Kits are easily available on Amazon. Be sure to use a dark kit on all colors other than white and Silverbelly.

Can I buy online? Yes! If you see something you love, send us a message and we will invoice you via square and ship next day.

Can I bring something sentimental to add? Of course! Often our customers bring their own fabric or pins to incorporate on their hat. Another great idea is old costume jewelry, family photos, etc.

What if I don't like my hat? SAY SOMETHING! We want you to love your hat. While we try our best to read body language we cannot read minds. Don't be afraid to speak up if you don't love something about your hat. We will simply adjust or start over.

How did you get started? I love this question because it allows me to share a piece of my other passions with you! I have worked for an insurance company for 18+ years, starting from the entry level sales and finishing as a Territory Business Development Manager. It was a role I loved and allowed me to be creative, focus on leadership development and help teams with their branding and marketing. That role was eliminated Jan 1, 2024 and I found myself unemployed! Meanwhile, Stephen and I had been growing a passion project called Through The Storm Apparel, an apparel brand opening conversations about mental health. We found success traveling to music festivals and I fell hard for Western Wear. I have always been passionate about fashion and love how I feel in a cowboy hat. Late February, while sitting in bed, I told Stephen... "I think I want to start a hat bar!" He said DO IT! While that sounded casual, I am not capable of doing anything casual. Here we are in our first year, growing quickly, failing over and over, learning and loving what we do. We have BIG PLANS to take the Southeast Market by a WESTERN STORM!
