Week 6

Geography - We have really enjoyed learning about modern-day Greece this half term! To finish our topic off, we tried some Greek food. This included, feta cheese, halloumi, hummus, pitta and olives. The children did so well in trying new food and really enjoyed it!

Science Club - It was our last Science club visit this week! We had to work as a team to create a dam to obstruct the flow of water should a flood happen. The children were given a budget to buy materials for their dam. They worked so well as a team!

English - In English this week, we completed our own persuasive texts for Santorini! The children used expanded noun phrases and similes effectively to persuade their reader to go on holiday there.

Reading - The children love to have some time to read their own books on an afternoon!

R.E - In R.E, we have been looking at what happens if we do wrong and how important it is to forgive people. We then looked at the story of Jesus' crucifixion and his sacrifice so that our sins could be forgiven.
