We live in a time in our society where the topics of race, ethnicity, and culture have challenged the body of Christ. Over the past few years, we have seen dissension surrounding these topics consume and divide the church in the United States. As followers of Christ, we must engage this topic with humility, gentleness, grace, and love for one another.
Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is the capability to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations. Cru is committed to helping our staff develop their CQ to more effectively engage students and communities with the gospel.
John serves as Portland Metro Team Leader, building communities of belonging so everyone can hear the gospel and see it being lived out by someone they know and trust. These movements exist to help students & faculty KNOW Christ, GROW in a relationship with him and GO help others do the same.
Amy serves as a Culture and Mission Specialist. Culture and Mission is the training arm of the US Campus Ministry. Her team is tasked with the intercultural and cross-cultural development of Cru’s workers serving in the United States and internationally.
